She loves Jesus recklessly

I wanted to do this so long ago, but now I felt that the time has come. I haven't prepared to write about this but I feel God telling me to do this and you can bet, it will be an honest one. So, here it comes...

@sarahreeves Lover of Jesus

A new artist post is here! I wanted to write about her since a long time ago. The next artist I'm writing about is Sarah Reeves, a worship leader, song writer, gifted artist, prayer warrior and an intercessor for her generation. She was born into a family of musicians and she knew that music will be a part of her future. At the age of 15, she had an encounter with God at a youth camp, which changed her life. “For the first time in my life I saw people excited about worshiping God, people who were pursuing God with all their hearts,” Sarah declares. “I longed for that kind of relationship with God. During that week, God messed up my whole perspective on worship. He humbled me. He filled me with the Holy Spirit. He called me to be a worship leader. He told me, ‘Life is not about you, Sarah. Life is about Me. From this point on you will live to glorify My name, to reach people, and lead them into My arms.’ My life has not been the same since that day.”

Misty Edwards- a passionate Woman of God

Image
Heeey...my next artist- post is here! It's really time for one :) I chose to speak about a great woman who was a great encouragement to me lately. She inspires me very much and I love how she pours out her heart to God. She sings songs which are from the depths of my heart...songs which I really yearn to sing along with her, it's so intense. The person I'm speaking about, as you read in the title, is Misty Edwards. She is a worship leader and song writer at the International House of Prayer in Kansas City . She serves as a staff member and intercessory  missionary s ince 1999 . She inspired other worship leaders whom I really love like Kim Walker Smith and Catherine Mullins. I won't write all my thoughts concerning this awesome Woman of God, because I want to let her words speak about her :)

My help is on the way... without delay

I was praising God this morning and suddenly a song came randomly on my playlist and started playing. I knew the song very well, but now the words rang deep into my heart differently than ever before. I think it is because that's what I declared to God and now I heard it in a song with great words ^_^ The song is sung by Kristian Stanfill at the Passion Conference (2011), listen to it, it will strengthen you, I'm sure of that. You also have the lyrics:

Club Beyond- part 2

The awesome things in the week I was in this camp were the meetings we had each evening. We had a great worship leader: author and musician Tara-Leigh Cobble possesses a unique trio of gifts that holds an obvious appeal for churches and colleges seeking a seamless presentation.  and an awesome Pastor: Jonathan Hill . The topic of the week was: Open My Eyes ! Every word was a blessing to me. Jonathan Hill is a man of God with a great calling. I was so happy when I first heard about what he was speaking. He shines a bright light wherever he goes and that is something we all have to do, because we're the children of GOD. "No one, after lighting a lamp, puts it away in a cellar nor under a basket, but on the lampstand, so that those who enter may see the light" Luke 11:33. He also has an awesome family...with sooo cute children, check them out:

Mandisa

Image
I started writing this blog post a long time ago, but I was really busy lately so I couldn't finish it! As you noticed the title of the post, I'll be talking about Mandisa! What I heard for the first time was her full name: Mandisa Lynn Hundley! I really didn't have any idea about her full name. She really has a beautiful name ^_^ Thus, as usually, I let the artists speak about themselves and highlight some of their words: " He is able to set us free from absolutely anything" she said "whatever we're turning to, in order to fill that void, it always gonna come up empty, because there ain't no high like the Most High. I like that! "

Chris Tomlin

The next artist from my list is CHRIS TOMLIN! This artist is such a blessing... I really loved him since 2004. We had an old cd player with speakers and I remember that I burned a cd with Chris Tomlin's songs and we played those songs over and over again in our room. I really enjoyed listening to them... What I highly esteem is that he writes and sings praise and worship songs...through which I can feel close to GOD! His voice is also sooo great and he's humble, that is very important!  “ I just love that God uses me ,” he says, “ but my role isn’t to grab as much attention as I possibly can, but to really point people to God. I don’t spend my time thinking how to make myself more popular ”. " I'm trying to help people connect to God. I'm trying that myself, you know...I can't go there and just perform, but I want to lead people to somewhere, I want to lead people to God, not lead people to myself. So that takes, you know, having your heart...

Kari Jobe

Image
The next artist who inspires me very much and who is a blessing in my life through her worship and living, is...KARI JOBE! I don't even know what to say about her, because she's such a blessing...such a loving person...unique and special. I'll let her speak about herself...I'm sure she will find a place in your heart :) Listen to her testimony:

Nicole C. Mullen

I chose to write about some of my favorite artists. So, you're going to read some posts about them.  I start with Nicole C. Mullen, not because I love her the most, or anything else, but because I've recently listened to her testimony, which is really awesome! God has worked through her and in her amazingly. She chose to live her life with Jesus and since then her life was changed in something really great! Her music lifts me up each time I listen to them. She praises God with her music and doesn't care about what people might say if she sings this or that, or use these words.  What I also like very much are the words she uses in her songs...they all have a good and powerful message to deliver to the listener. Listen to a part of her testimony, you won't regret it:
