New things this new year

This is my first post this year and it's unbelievable to me. I don't know why I haven't taken time for it in the past years or why I neglected it that much. But I hope to ketch up and share with all of you what I've learned lately on my journey. First of all I want to tell you using just a few words what my desires and thoughts are for this year:

There is nothing I want more this new year than to experience a growing, ever more relationship with God. I yearn to see Him as He is, so that I may be transformed in my own life and walk with Him. Because seeing the glory of who God is (His character, His personality, His ability, etc.) and what He has done (in the history, in the world, in my own life, etc.) renews my mind, strengthens me and transforms me. Then there is a worship & prayer meeting we have started and I really see God pouring out more into this and letting it be fruitful this year. And the other thing I know will change and improve is my dedication to and covenant with God regarding worship.

I'm so grateful for the previous year 2015. I've been through a lot of things and I'm so thankful for the good and the bad things, because they both taught me a lot about God, myself and the people around me. Mostly I'm grateful for starting an online course at the beginning of September, which is called Field Training. This course is an online course designed to mobilize those who feel called to carry the flame of worship and prayer to their city and to the nations. Each course is specifically geared to equip and activate me to both live, lead, and pioneer presence-centered culture in my region. The heart of Field Training is to provoke people into deeper intimacy with God, to help establish a personal revival culture, and to give tools to pioneering presence-centered communities. I received incredible teaching and practical activation exercises from a combination of spiritual fathers and mothers as well as key leaders in the Burn 24-7 movement. The goal of Field Training isn’t just to acquire information and skills alone. Its vision is to facilitate an encounter with God and to contend for lifestyle transformation.

In the next blog post I will share what I've experienced at the beginning of this year while I was at a conference in Germany. And then in the next blog posts I will share some of the things I've learned through the Field Training course, because I think they are so good that I can't help but share the riches of them all.
