No time for satan

I want to share with you a short story:

A teacher told to his class: "Children, today I want you to write an essay about everything you know about God and satan. You have two hours time. You can write anything you want. You can use examples, things you experienced, etc. So, take a paper out and start writing."
A boy in the third row started to write his essay about God. He wrote about God's goodness, faithfulness, love, peace, kindness, patience and kindness. He wrote paper after paper. Everything started to pop up into his mind and he was filled with the Holy Spirit while writing. He continued to write about God's power, guidance, wisdom and awesomeness.
Then suddenly the teacher said: "It's time to finish up...write the last sentence and give your papers up."
As the boy heard that, he ended his paper with these words: I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR SATAN."

We can learn from this story... a lot... we don't have to let our time be lost by thinking about satan, his work, the problems, the sicknesses and the troubles he brings. We have to FOCUS ON GOD!!! Reflect and meditate on all He is, His names, and His character. You will then see how blessed you are to have Him in your life and you can really admire Him: Oh, how great our God is!

    Amen! This is a good lesson for us! When we focus on God's goodness, faithfulness, love, peace, kindness, patience etc. than we won't have time form satan.

I know I haven't written for a long time on my blog. It's not something I have been prioritizing lately and I can't promise or say that I will, in the future. I've been very busy, and my life has been in a hurry, being in haste to do everything and fit everything into the week and then start a new week with the same hectic lifestyle, which was slowly robbing me of joy, concentration, energy, and hobbies or things I like to do for myself. I've been looking at my life and I was seeing how I enjoy my job and all the work I'm doing, but I'm in a constant giving and I don't invest in myself and the things I enjoy doing. I'm grateful that I've been able to travel and spend time with people I love, but the first thing that caught my attention, after having some time away from work and the frantic life, was not having enough time for what's the most important in my life: my connection and intimacy with God either. I have read something very interesting a few weeks ago and it still is in my thoughts. I can't stop thinking about it and its results.
