Christmas 2011

This Christmas we had the privilege to share some gifts with poor children and families! My heart is always joyful when I can give to the poor! I can feel with them and see their distress. It's like a sword piercing my heart when I see how they live...I use to see poor people sitting on the cold ground...brrr...How can we Christians oversee them? How can we go on and not stop to ask what they need?

Look at this cute little boy, he's eyes show so much love and innocence.

Here's a great quote:

'Where is God? Everywhere. How do we love God? He gives us the opportunity to do to others what we would like to do to Him, to put our love for Him in action:  loving and serving Him in the distressing disguise of the poorest of the poor.'
- Mother Teresa

This cute little girl draw my attention and I was so touched by her beauty and sadness. We gave her a cute present, but she didn't smile. Only she knows what life she has to live. She was a real lesson for me that day...and I suppose it was for a lifetime.

Treating life as a chance to serve the poor means God's kingdom inches into your heart and this world.
When you serve to others, you find Jesus' heartbeat. It's like wearing His shoes, carrying us through dark and dirty places. Being like Jesus means looking for opportunities to be a blessing for others.

Walking with God shows us when to act and when to stop and trust Him.

God knows the desires of your heart (2)

God is really amazing. He amazes me every time. I was planning to buy myself a laptop, because I really needed one. I have a PC which I used and which was very faithful to me :) As I started my Master's Degree I needed a laptop, because I had to go to the city where I'm studying every weekend.

I know (because I've experienced it) that when you need something then you have to sow a seed first, on which God can turn water. So my sister who had to write her diploma paper and needed a laptop to work on Photoshop, Web design, etc. more than I needed it then. I really wanted to help her, so I took the opportunity to bless somebody with the exact thing I need and let God take my wish over. Thus I decided to give her some money. She bought a Dell and she wrote an awesome diploma paper and still uses it with such a blessing. She is a very talented "Photoshopist", web designer, journalist, etc. I was very happy for her and I knew God knows the time when I'll have my lap…

Jesus is coming soon, be prepared

The previous week I was so overwhelmed with my tasks at the university and the exams. I'm a "born" perfectionist and I always like to do everything the best way I can. I was so busy that I didn't have time to do my homework the way I wanted to do them and it was such a big burden. I didn't sleep enough and I was always thinking how to work everything out. I was burnt-out at the end of the week when I had to go to the courses and exams. My sisters tried to encourage me, but I was exhausted. God each and every time gave me encouragements, but I still felt the pressure of these things. As I was taking a bath, I listened to a sermon on my cell phone (I usually like to do that... hihi). Through that sermon God spoke to me and I was really touched by what the preacher said about grace. A sentence caught my attention, it was like this: "The Christians should hang on a rope upon the hell for a few minutes to see and realize what God rescued us from." He also to…
