Sisters

I'm so proud of my sisters. They are all in love with Jesus and they want to be totally focused on the One, who is the most important of all. They don't search for earthly things and are always ready to help anybody who needs help. They are ready to sacrifice their time and comfort zone to do what God asks them. I'm so blessed to have them near and to know that we are working together for God's glory. We all have mistakes, but we truly want to live united with Jesus and try to overcome the world's power around us. I'm grateful to God that we get on so well with each other, building each other up through the Word of God and prayer.

In a village at an old well...
I want to specifically write about one of my sisters now, not because she is more special than the others, no! But because she isn't at home since January. She went to the YWAM Discipleship Training School (DTS) in Cluj. I'm really happy about it and I can tell you she went there with faith believing that God would provide the money for it. And God did and still does. DTS is designed to help her understand God more deeply, live more like Jesus and identify her unique gifts and purpose to use in missions. DTS is a training course which begins with an 11 or 12 week classroom phase, followed by an 8-12 week outreach time. YWAM trains students for a purpose and that purpose is to share the love of Jesus all over the world, particularly among those people where He is least known. My sister Elfriede (Friede) will go to Africa in May to share God's love for all. I'm proud of her ^_^

I know I haven't written for a long time on my blog. It's not something I have been prioritizing lately and I can't promise or say that I will, in the future. I wanted to come up here now and just write my thoughts down.  I haven't been feeling good for a few days, I got a cold and I had time to slow down and think. I've been very busy, and my life has been in a hurry, being in haste to do everything and fit everything into the week and then start a new week with the same hectic lifestyle, which was slowly robbing me of joy, concentration, energy, and hobbies or things I like to do for myself. I've been looking at my life and I was seeing how I enjoy my job and all the work I'm doing, but I'm in a constant giving and I don't invest in myself and the things I enjoy doing. I'm grateful that I've been able to travel and spend time with people I love, but the first thing that caught my attention, after having some time away from work and the frantic life, was not having enough time for what's the most important in my life: my connection and intimacy with God either.
