Bliss

Image
Image by Jackson David from Pixabay I am in a season where I can feel God's presence in such a deep and sweet way, which fills my life to overflow and to be full of joy. For days I've been singing songs to Him in my spirit, in my dreams and it has been awe-inspiring. I experience such incomprehensible joy... I don't own the right words in my vocabulary to adequately express what a privilege I feel by being the daughter of the Almighty God. Sometimes I just lay on my bed looking up, looking through the ceiling and telling God simply: "I love You!" and then I stand in silence letting Him fill my heart. It's simply but profoundly exhilarating and satisfying the deepest points in my life. I wish life could always be like this, but it isn't.

She awoke and knew who she was

Image by Free-Photos from Pixabay I haven't written for a while and I'm not happy about it. "But here I am, and here I stay. Let the storm wage on..." (inspired by Frozen). I have many things in my head that I would love to be able to put down in black and white. "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets [blogger] so that whoever reads it may run with it ." (Habakkuk 2:2) I won't overthink what I'm going to write about, so enjoy the rawness and simplicity of it. I feel like 70% of my posts are about this topic: the importance of knowing how valuable you are. This is what I want to write about today, as well. Just bear with me.

USA adventure (III): Rose On Aish

Image
[Photo by Gabby Orcutt on Unsplash] I had this as a draft for months, because I haven't taken time for it. Sad, but true. I'll continue with the posts about my trip to the United States of America, although it's a while ago, but I will link it together with an experience I had this summer. I "stepped" into a new year in another country on a different continent and the first day of the year was a Sunday. Going very late to bed the day before didn't hold me back from going to church in the morning. Rosie (read my previous post if you want to find out who she is) came to pick me up and at the entrance of the center, where I slept, I met an Asian girl, who asked me if I'm going to church (FCF). Then and there at that moment I didn't know that she'll become a very precious friend to me. As I told her that we are heading to FCF exactly at that moment, she asked if she can join me and another girl from my room. So, the four of us headed towards c...

I've been found by love

Image
Even in times of trouble I have a joyful confidence, knowing that my pressures will develop in me patient endurance. And patient endurance will refine my character, and proven character leads me back to hope. And this hope is not a disappointing fantasy, because I can now experience the endless love of God cascading into my heart through the Holy Spirit who lives in me! [Romans 5:3-5 made personal by me] TPT These past days I've been going through some deep stuff with God. Starting at being hopeless and ending in being full of hope, faith and love for Him. He told me that He chose me to be close to Him and asked me frankly: "Have you grown weary with your journey?" My answer was sad, honest, and I was crying out: "Yes, everything looks so hopeless around me! I want to see all those great things I've been dreaming with You! I want to see the fruits of my investment and faithfulness! It hurts so much to be wandering around again and again seeing the same tu...

A call to a journey to love God for His sake alone

Image
I want to invite you to love God with no self-intention, but only for His sake. Let us learn that we don't need to say a lot to Him or even think of Him much, for He sees our deepest parts, our sufferings, our hurt, our joys, our pain, our needs and our willingness to obey and submit. With people we love we don't need to always say "I love you with all my heart". TRUE LOVE IS DEEP, DEEP DOWN IN THE SPIRIT- uncomplicated, unsophisticated, peaceful, wild and silent. Just gazing at Him, just looking and savoring His attention and His affection. Believe me, that won't make you selfish or self-centered, but rather it makes you more like Him.

New things this new year

Image
This is my first post this year and it's unbelievable to me. I don't know why I haven't taken time for it in the past years or why I neglected it that much. But I hope to ketch up and share with all of you what I've learned lately on my journey. First of all I want to tell you using just a few words what my desires and thoughts are for this year:

The deep cry of our hearts

Image
I was thinking about things I see happening in our local church and my town and I was often discouraged and I had a deep sorrow in my heart. I've kept hungering for more from God and thirsting increasingly after His presence. I've kept dreaming about a transformed society in this town and awaiting a revival. It's so interesting because a few weeks ago I read Hannah's story in the Bible and I was touched by the story. Afterwards God spoke to me exactly from the same story through Corey Russell's book about prayer. So I'll put these things into this post, because I instantly knew God wants to highlight these things.   Despite the disappointment and pain caused by the fact that she was barren , Hannah insisted and continued to bring the deepest desire of her heart before God . Right from the beginning of the book of 1 Samuel we meet two wives , very different from each other . One had children, and the other didn’t...

Hungry for more

Image
I just want to share with you an awesome event that took place and I think it’s important. At the beginning of this year, we've started a worship and prayer meeting on Sunday afternoon, where people who hunger after more of God's Presence and who want to lift God up in unity, come together and seek after that. I know God goes to great lengths to win our heart and to encounter us as a Bridegroom. He is pursuing our hearts, captivating it and we desire to find comfort, strength and rest in this pursuit. He knows exactly how to approach us, how to woo our hearts and awaken a passionate love in us. At these meetings we want to let God have us, let Him do whatever He has to do to awaken us… to make us His completely. We want Him to conquer all of us! We know that pursuing God will be a lifelong journey of ours and that there are going to be ups and downs, but we dedicate ourselves to continually realign ourselves to go after all what He prepares for us. We long to experience ...

Strong Identity

Image
The previous week we had a great meeting at our youth group and God has shown our leader something amazing which I wanted to share to all of you. I want to keep it short, so here it is: The basic Scripture: John 1:19-28 Our identity is primarily influenced by three very important things in our lives: our goal/ our perspective; our living/ our behavior; our accomplishments/ fruits/ successes; So if we have a strong identity, then: we will proceed toward a good goal our behavior will prove it alongside we will see accomplishments (reach the goals that we've set)

Focus on the One and Only

I wanted to share with you something short but powerful about the life of Joseph. I think you know his story pretty well, so I won't recount all his life, only the part where he is thrown into prison because of Potiphar's wife (read more here ). In the prison there were also Pharaoh’s chief cup-bearer and chief baker, because they offended their master. While they were in prison, each had a dream one night. Joseph saw them one morning and noticed that they both looked upset. So, he asked them what's on their mind and they told him that they had a dream. It isn't significant for us now what the dreams were about, but that Joseph interpreted the dreams and they happened as he said. "Pharaoh’s birthday came three days later, and he prepared a banquet for all his officials and staff. He summoned his chief cup-bearer and chief baker to join the other officials. He then restored the chief cup-bearer to his former position, so he could again hand Pharaoh his cup. But ...
