Focus on the One and Only

I wanted to share with you something short but powerful about the life of Joseph. I think you know his story pretty well, so I won't recount all his life, only the part where he is thrown into prison because of Potiphar's wife (read more here ). In the prison there were also Pharaoh’s chief cup-bearer and chief baker, because they offended their master. While they were in prison, each had a dream one night. Joseph saw them one morning and noticed that they both looked upset. So, he asked them what's on their mind and they told him that they had a dream. It isn't significant for us now what the dreams were about, but that Joseph interpreted the dreams and they happened as he said. "Pharaoh’s birthday came three days later, and he prepared a banquet for all his officials and staff. He summoned his chief cup-bearer and chief baker to join the other officials. He then restored the chief cup-bearer to his former position, so he could again hand Pharaoh his cup. But

Keep your crown through your ups and downs

I wanted to write about this since God revealed it to me through an American person, who spoke at a meeting. We all know the story of Joseph since our childhood (or perhaps not), but I want to highlight something that will surely touch you, too. Let me first start with the following verse: " I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown . " -Revelation 3:11 Now... let us imagine that there's a clean blackboard before our eyes as we go through Joseph's story. So, everything starts with Joseph's birth. We know that "Jacob loved Joseph more than any of his other children, because Joseph had been born to him in his old age. So one day Jacob had a special gift made for Joseph—a beautiful robe." (Genesis 37:3) That means Joseph was doing pretty well. Thus let us draw a line upwards on our blackboard. We know that his brothers were jealous of him after he was treated favorably by his father and then had dreams,
