Book

Nadish was kidnapped at 9 years old and was made a child slave. "The landlord forced me to clean up animal manure all day, and when I was done, he would lock me in a small room with the animals." His story continues: "Days turned into weeks, and my stomach would growl. He never gave me enough to eat. Weeks turned into months, and my body would ache. The work was hard, and there was never enough time to rest. Months turned into years, and I began to think that this would never end. I was trapped, alone, locked in this dark place with the other animals." But through a miraculous event, Nadish found his way back into the loving embrace of his mother and the people who prayed for him during his captivity. ~excerpt from  No Longer a Slumdog ( you can order a free copy of this book or download an e-book by clicking on the title ^_^ )

Prayer

Image
The prayer is a song which doesn't need an explanation! Just listen to the song and read the lyrics: I pray You'll be our eyes And watch us where we go And help us to be wise In times when we don't know Let this be our prayer When we lose our way Lead us to a place Guide us with Your grace To a place where we'll be safe I pray we'll find Your light (I pray we'll find Your light) And hold it in our hearts (and hold it in our hearts) When stars go out each night (stars go out each night) Remind us where You are (remind us where You are) Let this be our prayer (let this be our prayer) When shadows fill our day (when shadows fill our day) Oh Lord, lead us to a place, oh my Guide us with Your grace (guide us with Your grace) Give us faith so we'll be safe A world where pain and sorrow will be ended And every heart that's broken will be mended And we'll remember we are all God's children Reaching out to touch you, reachin

Suffer...

I like to write short posts, because I know that people don't have time to read long posts ^_^ Time is precious! Thus, my post today will be a short one! I read the book of Revelation today and I came upon verses which made me think about them. Here they are: "And the beast was allowed to wage war against God's holy people  and to overcome them."  Revelation 13:7 "For your holy people and your prophets have been killed , and their blood was poured out on the earth." Revelation 16:6 "I could see that she [the prostitute] was drunk- drunk with the blood of God's holy people who were witnesses for Jesus." Revelation 17:6 I don't know what to say to these words, but I ask you only one question :  Would you endure suffering, even death, for Christ?

Moon

Image
This pic was made by me on June 15...it's during the lunar eclipse I don't know how I made it...but I just saw it after watching the other pictures :)) Isn't this looking like a heart? God is sooo wonderful, I keep getting amazed by His ways! Yesterday, I was called by one of my colleagues and we talked about God...I was soooo happy to minister to her...she asked me about many things and I could answer her with the help of the Scripture, nothing else, not my ideas, not my thoughts...only GOD'S WORDS!!! I was praying for her and I keep praying and I know God can work in her life, as He worked and still works in mine and in yours (isn't it?). He works in our lives and gives us what we need to go on! I'm so in love with my Savior <3

God's Awesomeness

Yeeehhheeeeeee!!!!! I'm done with the exams...finally, phew! I need to say that GOD is soooo great, awesome, perfect, super-duper, fabulous, glorious, astounding... eh ...awe-inspiring, astonishing, formidable, magnificent... mh ...wonderful, breathtaking, cool, fascinating, incredible... let me think ... marvelous, excellent, fantastic, THE BEST ! I think there aren't so many and good words which could describe Him!  He helped me at each and every exam... when I was weak, He made me strong... when I was sad, He made me happy... when I felt like I can't go on, He helped me through... when I was overwhelmed with so many things, He strengthened me... when I had tears in my eyes, He smiled at me and took me in His arms... when I was afraid, He gave me His Word to believe in... when I felt I don't know many things, He assured me it is enough... when I said it's impossible, He said I'M POSSIBLE ISN'T HE THE BEST THERE IS??? My final exams will be on 28,

Linda

Image
This is a special post...It's for my sister Linda (Lil) who I love sooo much and want to bless for her birthday ^_^ Yeah, I'm a little bit late (with a half an hour), but it doesn't matter because every day is a special day and a new opportunity to bless people...I hope you'll forgive me...I know you will (Luv ya)! Linda, thank you for being present in every big moment of my life and for loving me as I am. You're a big, big blessing to me and I appreciate everything you did and still do for me. We went through many things together, the pictures here are just a really tiny part (I didn't have all pics here and it wouldn't have place here). I'll always be here for you if you need me and I hope I'll be a good sister in the future :D I think we have the best memories which someone can have, isn't it! We shared so many things: thoughts, tears, clothes, laughter, joy, ideas, and so much more. Many people say we're twins (you know that)...sin

For such a time as this

Image
As I checked my e-mail today, I was astounded to see that Holley wrote a post similar to the topic I started :) That's really interesting, isn't it? Enjoy... For such a time as this... Posted: 03 Jun 2011 09:42 AM PDT You're here, now, in this moment, and it will never come again. For such a time as this... You're changing diapers, tying the shoelaces of the future, growing the seeds of strong faith. For such a time as this... You're working in that office, speaking up in that meeting, doing what you do with excellence. For such a time as this... You're reaching out a helping hand, taking time to listen, brightening someone's day. For such a time as this... You are wherever you are, doing whatever you do, and it matters more than you know. So keep it up, friend. You really are making a difference. --Holley

God's Hand in it

Image
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10 Out of all the centuries in time, this is the generation into which God chose to place you. Of course, you had nothing to do with the country in which you were born or the family you were born into. But clearly God placed you in His world at this particular time so that you could do something special . ~ from  Secrets of the Vine for Women  by Darlene Marie Wilkinson I don't own the picture ! I just wanted to share this with you because it's related to the topic I started on 1. June! I'll come back with further infos ^_^

Why still here?

I thought about the reason why and how God chooses places for people to live in. It's really interesting to just think a little bit about it...Or perhaps it's only exciting for me, I don't know. I heard from many people: 'I just want to leave this town, these people... this country. As soon as I finish school/ college, I'm out of here.' And believe me, many of those who said this, really left the town or even the country- my closest friends, my relatives, my neighbors, etc. When I was younger I was also thinking like that...I have to admit. I thought life can't go on in this country, because it's very hard to make a living and the people are very strange (couldn't find a better word). I had many chances to leave the country...with scholarship to Germany, to live in an European country, because I can speak and understand a handful of languages, to start my life anew somewhere else, etc. My parents even had the chance to move with the entire family
